What’s involved in a Repair?
When a repair is booked you will be asked a few simple questions, these questions will help us identify the issue and ensure we are the best prepared for the Job. Some repairs are pretty major and will involve getting the door save and secure while a new one is on order.
During a visit, we will also the following steps:
Visual Inspection: A look at springs, cables, rollers, and pulleys to determine if they’re working correctly or need repair or replacement as part of the repair.
Lubrication: We use a silicone-based spray that minimises the wear on parts every time the door operates.
Door Balance: Tests whether the door lifts without much effort or resistance. If there is adjustments or repairs, various parts may be required.
Full Repair Checklist; Each Technician carries out a 55 point checklist to cover everything while they are onsite.
